Anna is a project leader at Cellzome, a GSK company. She is responsible for the development of cellular target engagement assays with high-resolution imaging readouts including the deep tissue label-free techniques. The goal is to enable studies on drug-target interactions and understanding of cellular drug disposition.
Anna’s research interests have focused on expanding the portfolio of methods for basic and drug discovery research. Her work has been reported in several peer-reviewed publications. She received her PhD from the Heidelberg University for the work on chaperon’s assisted protein folding. She was then awarded an interdisciplinary fellowship at European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) Heidelberg to perform postdoctoral work in the field of chemical biology. This work resulted in novel cross-linkers and dimerizers to study protein-protein interactions in living cells using high-resolution imaging.
