Linda Hakes has more than 35 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked for companies such as Glaxo, Marion Merrell Dow, Celltech, Eli Lilly, Schwarz Pharma AG and UCB Biosciences. Her experience covers pharmaceutical development, preclinical development, clinical trial supplies, quality assurance and project leadership. She is currently an independent consultant in areas such as product development, development strategy, and business development.
Linda is Chairman of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the pharmaceutical science member of the Assembly of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. She was recently elected a Vice President of FIP and is a visiting professor at the University of Sunderland. She is a Fellow of both the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and FIP.
