Symposium B1
Towards understanding compound disposition at ever higher spatial resolution by label free methods
Monday 22 May 2017
15:00-18:00
Stockholmsmässan : K2
Dedicated to the memory of Professor Tsutomu Masujima (1949-2017) – a truly pioneering scientist who strove to do what others could not do.
Introduction
All too frequently we do not know enough about the likely disposition of compounds early in the discovery phase with the result there is a greater emphasis placed on potency at the target which is more easily optimised. This session will focus on contemporary methods for increasing the understanding of cellular and subcellular compound disposition using unlabelled drug, suitable for use in the lead optimisation phase.
Co-Chair(s): Mike Hann (UK), Paulina Rakowska (UK)
