Registration Guidelines

Registration fee for participants and students/recent graduates includes:

  • Admission to all sessions
  • Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception in the Exhibition hall
  • Entrance to the Exhibition
  • Access to all submitted Abstracts and Biographies as of 1 May 2017
  • Congress Bag with Final Congress Programme and List of Participants (name and country of participants registered and paid by 1 May 2017
  • Access to a website where you can download the (slides of the) presentations (available as of 1 July 2017)
  • Coffee/tea breaks
  • Please note that lunch is NOT included at this congress

Registration fee for accompanying persons includes:

  • Opening Ceremony
  • Welcome Reception
  • Entrance to the Exhibition
  • Please note that lunch is NOT included at this congress

The fee for accompanying persons does NOT include admission to the sessions.

Invited speakers

If you are an Invited Speaker, you will receive a separate link to register together with your official invitation end of September/early October 2016.

If you wish to register as Press, please send an e-mail to press@fip.org in order to receive the registration information. Please mention 'PSWC 2017' in the subject line of your email. 

Payment

Registration fees are to be paid in Euros (€), no other currency is accepted. All fees must be paid by Credit Card, (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard or American Express). Instructions for payment will be available on the payment page of the online registration process.
After receipt of your registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email and (if requested during the online registration before 3 May 2017) a letter of invitation in PDF.

Group registration

If you wish to register a group, please make sure that you can provide also the personal email addresses of all individuals for follow-up on their registration. For group registrations, a minimum of 10 participants is required. Please note that the same registration fees apply as for individual registrations. For more information please send an e-mail to the Congress Registration Office.

Student/recent graduate registration

The following conditions must be met:

  • You must still be a student, or have graduated as a student, after 3 May 2012
  • You must attach to your online registration an official document (.jpeg,.gif,.bmp or .png, max.200 Kb) signed by the Dean of your University proving your student/recent graduate status. Until the congress registration office has received your proof of student/recent graduate status, the participant registration fee will be applicable. 

Day cards

Day cards can only be purchased on site. Pre-registration for a day card is not possible. Please note that it is not possible to change a pre-registration booking into a day card. On site payment of registration fees can be made via:
•    Credit Card: Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard or American Express are accepted
•    Cash in Euro (€)

Payment and confirmation 

All costs referred to are in €. The registration fees are subject to 25% VAT. The Swedish VAT registration number is SE502076121801.  All payments must be made in €, no other currency will be accepted. Full payment is due for the registration fees.

Upon completion of your online registration, you will be sent a confirmation by email. The confirmation is sent to the email address provided on the registration form and will show whether we have received your payment and will include an invoice.

Only digital versions of invoices will be sent to participants upon completion of the online registration. The invoice will be issued using the contact details provided on the registration form so please make sure you have provided us with the correct information.

Cancellation of congress registration 

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to MCI Amsterdam.

  • In case of cancellation before or on 1 December 2016, the registration fee less an administration fee of 10% will be refunded. 
  • In case of cancellation between 1 December and 4 April 2017, the registration fee less an administration fee of 50% will be refunded. 
  • As of 5 April 2017, the registration fee will not be refunded.

The terms of cancellation are applicable in all circumstances, also if a visa is officially refused to the participant and or accompanying person. 

Replacements or name changes are handled as cancellations. 

Invitation letter for visa application

All delegates requiring a letter of invitation for visa application purposes may request this letter during the online registration. We will not be able to issue any letter of invitation without receiving the registration and the payment of the required registration fees. Please note that the organizers will not be able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office on behalf of a delegate.

Insurance and liability disclaimer

It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their countries. MCI Amsterdam and FIP claim no liability for the act of any supplier to this meeting, nor liability for: personal injury, the safety of any attendee while in transit to or from this event, for any loss or damage, for delays in transport by air, sea, rail, road, weather, in case of strikes, sickness, war or other causes.
