Congress theme
“Future Medicines for One World - Systems approaches to drug discovery, development and clinical usage” is what the congress theme will be, chaired by prof. Meindert Danhof, Leiden University, Netherlands, together with his program committee.
The main themes of the congress related to the societal aspects of innovative medicine research include:
- Excellent sciences
- Global harmonisation
- Open innovation
Within those themes the sciences behind the medicine research will offer five different tracks:
- Fundamental & translational sciences
- Drug delivery & targeting sciences
- Formulation & manufacturing sciences
- Regulatory sciences
- Science-based practice
